Currently specified in numerous noise control systems at OEMs and noise control systems providers within the aircraft industry, this material provides excellent acoustic insulation as an overframe blanket. Acting as an acoustic absorber, the felt was engineered specifically to control noise in an aircraft. This Tex Tech material is a thicker version of Tex Tech’s MC8-4625BGR acoustic insulation materials, and can be used alone or combined with damping materials for added noise control. For interior aircraft use, the felt is typically treated with a protective coating of PTFE on the fiber surface to provide moisture and chemical repellency. Other attributes of this material include inherent fire retardance, high temperature and chemical resistance, as well as an extremely good resistance to the development of mold.

Rub-LAM is an excellent choice of material for sealing, isolation, friction as well as sound and vibration damping. Various types of metals and alloys can be used, with surface treatment if needed. The choice of elastomer (Damping Rubber) and thickness is based on the requirements of the application. Rub-LAM is an elastomer to metal sandwich material where the elastomer is vulcanized on one or two sides of the metal layer.

"SilGrip NVH PSA - Mid Temp" is optimized for temperatures around 100 degC. It has been designed with the Momentive's SilGrip NVH PSA Kit, a fully customizable noise and vibration damping product used primarily as a contact adhesive, as well as pressure sensitive tapes and transfer films. It can be applied in minutes if used as a contact adhesive, or immediately when used as a pressure sensitive tape or transfer film. The kit allows a wide damping range over low temperatures, room temperatures and high temperatures, depending on the chosen mix ratio.

Iriovel 140-20 H is a laminated hydrophobic and oleophobic polyester staple fiber. It is a thermal - insulating and sound absorbing material consisting of 100% thermobonded polyester. (Polyethylene terephthalate - Co-Polymer Polyethylene terephthalate). It was designed specifically for the insulation of high speed railway rolling stock fulfilling the requirement of being water- and oil-repellent.

This partially impregnated polyurethane foam of 4 kg/m² is a permanently elastic fine-pored foam single coated mass-spring-system. The heavy-duty impregnation is acrylate-based. Ideal for sound-dampening, sound absorption and structure-borne noise attenuation. It is resistant to ageing, weather and hydrolysis.

Visco-LAM is a sandwich material made of two layers of sheet metal laminated together with an intermediate layer of viscoelastic polymer (Low or High temperature VEM). Various types of metals and alloys can be used, in different thicknesses, with surface treatment if needed. The material performance can also be optimized by changing the dynamic properties of the polymer.

Fully impregnated polyurethane foam with a density of 150 kg/m³. It is a high flame retardant foam. This permanently elastic fine-pored soft foam is impregnated with modified polyacrylate – free of softeners. Ideal for soft elastic sealing with high requirements in fire prevention for sound absorption and heat insulation, vibration dampening as well as protection against dust, humidity and draft. Specially developed for railway, automotive and electronic industry. Resistant to ageing, weather and hydrolysis.
